Where should we stay?

We’d love for all of our guests to stay on property at Archerfield.

How should we plan to get to and from Archerfield?

You have a few options! Archerfield is 35 minutes from downtown Edinburgh. You can book an Uber/Lyft/Gett or a local cab company from Edinburgh to Archerfield. You cannot order an Uber from Archerfield, but the staff will be happy to arrange local travel for you. You can also rent a car. You should not need an International Driving Permit, but mileage may vary. They are $20 at AAA, to be safe. You will need to be comfortable with right-hand driving. Scotland is known for having some of the most epic drives in the world, and we love a good road trip!

What amenities are there at Archerfield?

Will there be food and drinks during the welcome party? On the day?

Oh yes.

Will there be haggis?

Definitely.

Will there be funtivities?

We will be organizing tee times to play at Archerfield on Friday morning, and activities in the afternoon. Stay tuned for more!

What will the weather be like in early September?

The weather averages mid 60ºs during the day and down to mid 50ºs at night. Pack layers (or Scotch).

What should I wear?

Friday: Cocktail attire (kilts welcome) Saturday: Formal attire (kilts also welcome)

Can I bring a plus one?

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
